This is YOUR space to grow in confidence.
Therapy can feel like a bold move in a world that often tells you to “handle it on your own.” If you’re here, maybe you’re tired of doing that. Perhaps you’ve been juggling the pressure to succeed, look a certain way, feel a certain way, and keep it all together. Maybe that mask is starting to slip, or it just doesn’t fit anymore.
Working with me means entering a space where the pressure drops. From the moment you sit down, you’re invited to exhale. It’s a space where you can be messy, uncertain, hopeful, scared, or somewhere in between.
You won’t be met with judgment or a clipboard checklist when you sit across from me. Instead, you’ll find someone genuinely curious about who you are, what’s hurting, and what you want for your life. We might talk about anxiety, perfectionism, relationships, or the inner critic who just won’t quit. We might also talk about joy, meaning, and the parts of you that are starting to grow beneath the struggle.
We might laugh together, even as we navigate hard things, because therapy doesn’t have to be cold or clinical. It can be honest, relational, and even a little surprising.

Sessions are structured but flexible.
We’ll use evidence-based practices like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Dialectal Behavior Therapy to manage overwhelm and build practical coping tools.
Psychodynamic therapy and mindful self-compassion can help you understand your inner world, where your patterns come from, and how to shift them in lasting ways. You might feel weighed down or unmoored when you enter my office, but over time, you will feel more grounded, self-aware, and in tune with what matters to you.
Together, we’ll build the muscle that helps you face discomfort rather than avoid it.
Your discomfort might come in the form of anxiety, self-doubt, or circumstances beyond your control, and while it’s hard, therapy helps you face it with more strength, flexibility, and compassion. It also allows us to build resilience and the ability to tolerate uncertainty, strengthening the belief: “I can truly handle what comes my way. Yes – I may encounter pain… and I know I’ll be okay.”
The work doesn’t end with the session.
Although the therapeutic session helps you develop insight, the real change happens in the time between sessions. We’ll discuss ways to carry what we’ve explored into your everyday life – whether that means practicing grounding exercises when anxiety spikes, having hard conversations with more clarity, or showing up differently in your relationships.
My clients tell me therapy helps them feel more anchored, able to access their voice, and capable of handling whatever comes next.
If you’re hesitant about therapy, that makes sense. It’s vulnerable to reach out and begin something new. But it’s worth it.
The skills, insights, and inner shifts that therapy brings can ripple unexpectedly through your life. More importantly, you don’t have to do it alone.

Outside the office…
I enjoy sharing meals with friends and gardening.
I feel most grounded at the beach or on a slow, mindful walk with my 16-year-old therapy dog, Cypress. Although he has supported hundreds of therapy sessions over the years, he is mostly retired, but is still full of gentle presence and sleepy wisdom.
If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself and do the work with support, warmth, and maybe a little laughter along the way, contact me today.
