Embrace the challenge of change.
A lot of people come to therapy because something isn’t sitting right anymore.
It could be high expectations, full schedules, and a sense that things should be handled with minimal disruption. Over time, this can turn into anxiety, burnout, or a feeling that there’s no real off switch. When so much of your identity is tied to being capable and successful, struggling can feel like something you’re not supposed to admit.
Thoughts like “I should have this figured out” or “I can’t fall behind now” tend to show up in those moments. There’s often a pull to keep going, even when something isn’t working.
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a break from that pattern, and not always a comfortable one. Letting go of the expectation to have it all together requires a different kind of effort.
Here’s a space for authenticity and growth.
In our sessions, we will create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. Acknowledging your struggles is the first step toward healing, and together we will learn to redefine your sense of self outside of accomplishments and external validation.
We look closely at the patterns that keep repeating. That might be the urge to overthink decisions until they feel certain, having a hard time setting limits, or the way self-criticism shows up quickly when something doesn’t go as planned. There’s also attention to what happens in your body in those moments, and how quickly things can escalate.
Part of the work is building the ability to stay with discomfort without immediately needing to fix, avoid, or push through it. That might look like experimenting with responding differently when anxiety rises, or practicing setting a boundary even when it brings up guilt or uncertainty.
It can feel uncomfortable, but it’s how resilience builds, and I will support you every step of the way.
